Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-19

By using Mise (mise.sudoit.au) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Mise is operated by SUDOIT Solutions (Australia). The product is in active development; features may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to use Mise. By using the service you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of recipes you add, write, or import. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and use any content you bring into Mise — for example, you shouldn't import recipes from a paid subscription source and then redistribute them. Mise is a private library for your personal, non-commercial use.

You grant SUDOIT Solutions a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you (including generating thumbnails, extracting structured data, and running AI-assisted features).

Third-party content

Recipes imported from web pages, TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram remain the property of their original creators. We display the source URL on every imported recipe so attribution is preserved. Mise stores extracted recipe text and a thumbnail; it does not republish recipes publicly.

If you're a rights holder and believe content in a user's private library infringes your rights, contact us at help@sudoit.au and we'll investigate.

Acceptable use

Don't use Mise to:

  • Import or store content you don't have the right to use
  • Circumvent paywalls or DRM on third-party sources
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or place automated load on the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
  • Use the service to store unlawful, harmful, or infringing material

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

Our intellectual property

The Mise name, branding, UI, and underlying code are owned by SUDOIT Solutions. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trade marks, logos, or software beyond the right to use the service as intended.

Account and data

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time from Settings, or by emailing help@sudoit.au. We'll action deletion requests within a reasonable period. See the Privacy Policy for what we store and for how long.

Service availability

Mise is provided "as-is" and "as-available" with no uptime guarantee. We'll do our best, but you shouldn't depend on it for anything time-critical. Recipe imports depend on third-party services (Anthropic, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and others) and may fail when those services are unavailable, change their APIs, or block automated access.

Termination

You can stop using Mise at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use Mise ends; clauses that by their nature should survive (IP, liability, governing law) will survive.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SUDOIT Solutions is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of Mise, including import failures, lost data, third-party-service outages, or AI extraction errors.

Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee can be limited, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be flagged in-app or by email where we have one. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and SUDOIT Solutions submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
